Quest Auto Service is locally owned by Joe Palasz and operates in 2 locations in Johnson County, KS.  Formerly a national chain in 2010 I took the opportunity to develop our brand as an independent service provider, calling our company Quest Auto Service.

I started with a large national chain in Milwaukee, WI in 1981, where my family and I are originally from.  From 1981-1995, I worked in various positions starting from the ground floor, literally sweeping, cleaning, stocking and deliveries for this national chain.  I worked as a technician for years as well as many different manager positions within the organization.  From there, I became an area manager responsible for the entire Milwaukee market.  In 1993, I had accepted a manager of franchise operations position working directly for this national chain, covering various independent dealers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas and Minnesota.  In 1995, I moved from Milwaukee to St. Louis to work as an operations manager for one of the independent national franchisee’s (same organization).  In 2000, I resigned and purchased two of the National chain locations in Overland Park, KS, and added a third location in 2005.  All of our shops today are full service and employ ASE certified technicians.

I am committed to providing excellent customer service. I believe a successful business is built on customer service which builds trust.  Quest Auto Service provides our customers with the proper information to make an informed decision about the services they may need.  We plan to continue to honor our previous business name warranties, so please remember we still have the history on your previous work performed at our locations in Overland Park and Olathe.
